You know you've done it -- the drunk dial. The late night, did-I-really-do-that-yes-I-did call. The kind you want to pretend never happened. Simply delete your call log and your embarrassing moment is gone forever.
Unless, that is, you have a Treo 750.
For some strange reason this device has a pesky little bug that doesn’t delete recent calls from the recent calls list, the one that pops up when you hit the green "send" button. So that ridiculous call is sitting there, unwanted. So there’s two ways around it. The first is to make several phone calls to bump the call you want to hide off the recent calls. Then once it’s off that list, a simple delete call log will work. Still, a hassle.
That recent calls list is actually stored in a separate file, though, so you can delete the bugger manually too. The first thing you need to do is go into the trusty file explorer. Then select "My Device" if you have a memory card inserted.(If no memory card is present My Device will be default). Then scroll down to the file that is labeled PalmVol and delete it. Once deleted there will be no more pesky call log from the green button. Keep in mind that if you happen to reset your phone it will bring back the PalmVol file and would have to be deleted again.
Of course there's the third option. You can always stop dialing your Ex. But yeah, we know, that's not gonna happen.
