Stereo Bluetooth headphones, which often go by the technically obscure “A2DP” (the name of the Bluetooth standard protocol they use to communicate), have been consistently heralded as the next big thing in mobile multimedia, however due to a multitude of reasons they've been slow to catch on. Add me to that bunch that has waited awhile to try it out. But now that Palm has officially added A2DP support to the Sprint 700wx, I figured why not give a try. Today I’ll review the **Motorola S805 “DJ style” BT headphones** ($94.95) on three different devices: Palm 700wx, Motorola Q and the HTC-6800. Given my earlier reticence with A2DP, I was happily surprised by my experience.

The Com One Micro Clip is a thumb-sized A2DP "headset" designed to be used with a standard pair of 3.5mm headphones. What I like about it is that it allows you to easily listen to your Windows Mobile phone's music in the car (by using a aux in or a tape adapter, for example). As a standard bluetooth headset, however, it's only so-so. Read on for the video and a full review.

After a video first look at the Lubix UBHS-NC1 ($89.95 at the WMExperts Store), I kept on using the headset for the rest of the week. I've come away very impressed with these Bluetooth headphones - great for music, average for voice. Read on for the full review.

I have a new favorite pair of Bluetooth Headphones - the Lubix UBHS-NC1. Terrible name, great headset for music. There will be a full review up a little later in the week, but here's a video first look in the meantime.

All hail hannip (with some help from dimitri), a forum member of TreoCentral/WMExpert's forums! He posted a patch for you Treo 700wx users (Including you new Verizon folks) that enables A2DP stereo bluetooth headset support. Be sure to read through the entire thread, especially this post that details upping the quality of the sound.

Here’s a awkward question for fans of the full-features PocketPC Edition of Windows Mobile 5: “How long until the differences between the two versions of the OS are negligible?” We know that we can expect a more full-featured version of Pocket Office on the Smartphone Edition soon (Hello editing!). Now, according to Tech[dot]Blog, we can expect Voice Command as well.
